Client:        Town of North Hempstead, NY         Status:        Design 2014-15

 

RDA was hired by the Town of North Hempstead through an RFP process to develop the second phase of the Manhasset Bay Walk Trail, a water-front esplanade along Manhasset Bay. The 1-1/2 mile long trail includes nodes of activity for fishing, picnicking, and a new boardwalk that bypasses a busy stretch of adjacent highway. Work also includes planting, decorative pavers and pavement inlays.
