Project Description

RDA Landscape Architecture provided design services for the swimming pool complexes at The Vanderbilt, a luxury residential and hospitality-driven community in Westbury, NY and The Selby, a luxury rental community. The projects were conceived as an extension of each building’s elevated lifestyle—blending residential comfort with the experience of a boutique hotel environment.

The pool areas were designed as central amenity destinations, integrated with surrounding outdoor lounges, dining areas, and recreation spaces. Carefully coordinated spatial planning reinforces connectivity between the pool, adjacent amenities, and the broader site, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience that supports both relaxation and social activity.

Material selection and layout respond to the project’s refined architectural character, ensuring a cohesive and durable environment that complements the development’s high-end positioning. The result is contemporary amenity spaces that enhance daily living while reinforcing the property’s identity as a full-service residential destinations offering exceptional on-site amenities and convenience.
