The Village of Great Neck, NY asked RDA to develop plans for a new park on the site of the former Village debris station. With two streams bisecting the site, RDA drew inspiration from the flow of water and designed a nautilus shaped boardwalks and undulating "wave walk" that crossed over and around the streams. Undulating earth berms accentuate the wave feeling and much of the park was planted with native plants and grasses.
